He was traveling in a Mahindra Thar SUV with two companions when their vehicle was intercepted and subjected to a barrage of gunfire by unidentified assailants. Moose Wala suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead after being rushed to a hospital; his companions were also injured in the attack.
The aftermath of the incident saw Canadian-based gangster Goldy Brar, allegedly associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claim responsibility for the killing through social media.
